Who We Are

Starting out as an at-home-mom of five children with too little time and too many interests and hobbies, I wanted to build my college-age daughter a table for her apartment. When she ended up not needing one after all, but my older daughter bought a house, I completed the project and it was beautiful. With a successful project completed, I ventured further and refaced her kitchen cabinets, including adding some additional cabinetry to her kitchen. That project morphed into new flooring, and a new bathroom vanity. Although I have learned a lot since then, and my work and knowledge has improved vastly since those first projects, the opportunity to learn and grow on those projects were the catalyst for moving forward and expanding my horizons in woodworking.

Under the tutelage of a skilled carpenter whom I worked for for almost a year, I learned and grew enough to step out on my own, in my own shop, and Raffinata Home was officially established in 2020. We love creating, designing and filling your spaces with joyful beauty!
